How do I know which test to take? You can visit our website: masters.edu/registrar to see which courses will transfer from other institutions. Click on "transfer courses" to see a list of institutions as well as CLEP/AP tests that will transfer to fulfill our Gen Ed requirements.

  • If your first full-time semester at TMU was Fall 2019 or later, please contact our Transfer Articulation Advisor Sophia Jaskulsky sjaskulsky@masters.edu.
  • If your first full-time semester at TMU was between Fall 2015 and Summer 2019 semester, please click the link that says, "Fall 2015 through Summer 2019". 
  • If your first full-time semester at TMU was prior to the Fall 2015 semester, please click the link that says, "Pre-Fall 2015."

If you don't see your college on the list please follow these instructions: Please email the name of the college, the name/code/description of the course(s) to Registrar@masters.edu for approval.

How to read the articulation agreement:

Reading straight across: The "American Literature" CLEP test is equivalent to the American Literature I or II course at TMU, which is a Gen Ed requirement
Reading straight across: The "Analyzing & Interpreting Lit" CLEP test is equivalent to an English Elective at TMU, which is a Gen Ed requirement.
